Glass, Glass and More Glass

We’ve only scratched the surface (no pun intended, I swear) on my stained glass adventures so far. I’m writing all this retroactively, so it feels a bit weird talking about the beginning because I’ve made so many pieces since then. But let us go in order!

I wasn’t completely happy with my first citrus pattern. In practice it didn’t go the way that I thought it would. Which is exactly where the learning comes in, which is great. I learned a lot about cutting curves. Curves are a big thin in stained glass. Let me give you an example:

This is a good break!
This is an even better break! Things were going great for me here.

I enlarged the pattern which made the curves a lot easier cut & break. I’m quite happy with it though! If you look in the Stained Glass portfolio page, you’ll see the different colours I’ve made with this pattern. Behold! The lime slice! God, I love green.
